The value for money at Grand Palace was excellent and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity, including the fantastic Island Dreams bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the door staff who assisted with taxis and other needs.
The morning meal could have offered a wider variety of choices.

Convenience
The pool was smaller than I was hoping as I swim for fitness, however the gym was ok

The Western restaurant is the highlight of this hotel. It is a down-to-earth old-style fine dining restaurant with excellent service, simply presented but with well prepared dishes using quality ingredients (steaks, fish, salads etc). It easily beats the quality of the 5 star hotels down the road and a 3-course meal for two with a bottle of house wine will come to about USD 100. There is a reasonable selection of label wines as well although these can get a bit pricy. A pianist plays quietly in the corner and the ambiance is very relaxed.
The internet access is free but there is no WiFi so remember to bring your own LAN cable or the hotel will happily "rent" you one at RM 5.00 (USD 1.70) per day!

I recently stayed at a luxurious hotel in Miri and had a wonderful experience. The location of this place was perfect, nestled among the local coffee shops in the city centre. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and even a sitting area. I particularly enjoyed the in-room safe, which provided added security for my belongings. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. I also appreciated the free toiletries and the electric kettle for making a quick cup of tea.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Clean, Comfortable and Spacious Room.
No variety choice on breakfast. Just very simple plain rice, porridge and condiments serving the hotel guests.

Near 2 d shopping complex.
I wish for easily access for surfing d net from d room coz to go down to the lounge area is so troublesome. And s the price inclusive breakfast, we should b remind d starting time n d tym close for breakfast.

The room was very comfortable with a great bed to get a good night's sleep. The hotel location was perfect, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. The view from my room was outstanding and I enjoyed it to the fullest while resting after a long day of work.
The breakfast had very limited choices and was not satisfactory enough for the money I paid. , the gym equipment needed some repairs or replacement as some machines were not working properly.

Great location, close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Budget-friendly prices. Helpful staff. Awesome breakfast and tasty food options. Large and well-prepared dimsum at Han Palace Restaurant. Clean bathrooms with nice water pressure and temperature. Good value for money. Pool is small but well laid out
Felt super comfortable, no complaints.
